About your tutor

Hello, I'm Megan.

I'm currently studying Biology at the University of Bath, and I offer online tutoring to students of all ages and levels.

I'm fully bilingual in English and Spanish, and fluent in Catalan. While I'm not an IB-certified tutor, I completed the IB myself and sat my exams recently, so I understand the course from a student's perspective — including what is expected, how to approach exams, and the strategies that can make a real difference.

I tailor every lesson to the student in front of me, whether they're preparing for exams, strengthening their understanding of a subject, or simply looking to build confidence.

I also have hands-on teaching experience from spending three months teaching at a school in Guatemala, where I worked with students from a wide range of ages and backgrounds.

I achieved the IB Bilingual Diploma, having completed IB English A: Language and Literature at Standard Level. I grew up in an English-speaking home and have been schooled in English from 6th grade through to now.

I'm currently reading Biology at the University of Bath, where I achieved a First in my most recent academic year. While I'm not an IB-certified tutor, I studied IB Biology at Higher Level myself — so I know the syllabus well, along with the tricks for the exams.
